I'm so hungover today it's unreal, so I have lain in bed and played fucktons of tourneys. Went OK:







If I get to the WSOP from this, then I will have made it there for the princely sum of $1.60



I also came 4th for $600 on the final table of another one. It was a shame as I was doing really well and was 2nd bigstack, but I restole against the button with 22 from the sb and the big stack in the bb woke up with 99. I am not sure how to play it, so I'm going to stick it in the forums, since I have no idea how much I should 3bet to be able to fold to a 4b from the bb or even whether I want to do that.

Back in my NL50 days I nearly made more from Sunday 300k qualifiers on Party than cashgames, and it looks like the trend is continuing. They are so soft.

Bad news:

I had AA 22 times today - All that saw a flop lost (only 12).
I lost 6/6 80/20s
I had KK 14 times today. Only 1 won that saw the flop by taking it down on a cbet.
I got allin on 3 sets today. All lost.
I don't have a girlfriend, though usually that's my commitment-phobic fault.
I'm probably an alcoholic
And a multiple drug addict
And I can't quit smoking
I can't dance, unless it's Salsa


Doing the above was supposed to put things in perspective but it doesn't. Today's session was easily my most intense bad run ever, and without a doubt the most $ expensive. I have suffered 3 worse downswings in terms of length and numbers of buyins over the last 3 years and about 1.5m hands, but never anything as intense. I tilted on 2 hands which I can't forgive myself for, and probably played others badly. From now on I will have a 3 buyin stoploss even if I think I'm playing well.

I won't post graphs or stats cos I don't want to look at them again. I am going to take a break from poker until I am able to face studying today's session, and finding what I can learn from it. This will probably take at least a week.

I played the LP heads up tourney today, and I've never played heads-up before, except at the end of tournaments. Does anyone who is like 200NL+ fancy a couple of tables of 50NL heads up on stars, with an exchange of opinions. I'd like to learn...
